Shen Wei kept observing the condition of Zhao's health after being with him. He knew it was staying with him who was neither a god nor a ghost that made Zhao weaker and weaker. Zhao felt that Shen behaved abnormal, as if he had some secrets kept back.

One evening, Zhao was woken by the noise of a car moving off. He left his room and sought something to eat. It happened that he found Shen was doing something in the kitchen. Shen was terrified. He pretended to carry on calmness, trying to hide the knife with blood, but failed. His wound on his chest inspired Zhao with anger. Zhao grabbed Shen's shirt and shouted to him, “If I don't find it myself by chance today, when will you intend to tell me? Can you respect my opinions before you do something like that? Do you think yourself get an achievement? Don't look down upon yourself, okay? I don't deserve your dedication."

“You do deserve it,” Shen interrupted, “In my whole body, only the blood in the tip of my heart is clean, with which I'm willing to protect you. My life refers to you, Yunlan. Once you meet something wrong for me, I'll never forgive myself." Not good at expression, Shen stopped arguing with Zhao by a kiss.

With red eyes, Zhao asked. "Have you been pained?”

Shen just replied with a smile, "I have been used to being hurt.”
